14 SLIAC Student-Athletes Honored by NABC
Fourteen student-athletes from three different SLIAC member institutions have been honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for their academic achievement this past season and have been named to the NABC 2012-13 Honors Court.

Jordan Smith, Senior, Criminal Justice

Derrell Lee, Senior, Business Administration
In all more than 700 student-athletes from over 285 College and
Universities were honored this year by the National Association of
Basketball Coaches (NABC). In order to be named to the Honors
Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic
criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically be a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the
2012-13 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their
current institution.
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA Division I or II
institution.
