SLIAC Teams Among Those Honored by NSCAA

Two members of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and their men's and women's soccer programs were recognized by the NSCAA for excellence in the classroom as well as on the field.

Both the men's and women's soccer programs for Fontbonne University and Webster University were among those listed for their academic and on-field success. A total of 862 college soccer teams, across all divisions, were honored. Of those just 186 schools had the distinction of having both their men's and women's teams honored. To be eligible for the award a team must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The Fontbonne University women's team registered a 3.57 G.P.A. while their men's team held a 3.20 G.P.A. The Webster University women's team held a 3.38 G.P.A. while the men's team registered a 3.28 G.P.A. For a complete list of the men's and women's teams honored by the NSCAA click HERE

The NSCAA is the world's largest soccer coaches' organization with members at every level of the game. The membership is primarily made up of coaches, but also includes administrators, referees and others in the soccer industry.
