About Eureka

Eureka begins the week with a 9-12 overall record and an 8-6 record in the SLIAC. The Red Devils are currently tied for the fourth spot into the SLIAC Tournament. They suffered a 63-43 loss to Westminster last Saturday that ended their six game winning streak. Eureka will host second place Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday before hosting Fontbonne on Saturday.

Eureka is averaging 60.3 points per game, seventh in the conference, and allow 64.3 points per game. They rely heavily on the three-point shot, averaging a conference high 28.7 attempts per game. Defensively the Red Devils rank third in steals per game and have held opponents to the fourth lowest field goal percentage this season.

The Red Devils are led by senior guard Emily Camden and junior forward Michaela Balducci. Camden leads the team in scoring at 13.9 points per game and is one of the league's top long range shooters. Balducci is averaging 11.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season, ranking fourth in the league. Sophomore guard Kerrigan Dura runs the team's offense; averaging 5.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

About Fontbonne
Fontbonne is currently 7-14 overall and 6-8 in the SLIAC. The Griffins are two games back of the final spot into the playoffs, with Eureka and Webster tied ahead of them. With just four games left in the regular season a win this week is key for the Griffins to remain in the hunt. Fontbonne has dropped four in a row, including a non-conference game against St. Mary of the Woods in their last outing.

Fontbonne is averaging 69.7 points per game, second in the conference. Their fast paced offense likes to push the ball and look for quick points. When in a half-court offense however they tend to look inside, which has allowed them to attempt the second most free-throws this season.

The Griffins are a deep team with nine players averaging double digit minutes. Leading the way is junior guard DeAmbra Pilkinton at 13.9 points per game. Jessica Jordan, a freshman, gives the Griffins an athletic wing player; averaging 9.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting 47-percent from the field. Junior guard Emmie Haring leads the conference in assists and makes the Griffins offense go, averaging 8.8 points and 5.9 assists per game.
