SLIAC 30 for 30: Lee McKinney | |
When one thinks of Fontbonne University athletics, the first name to come to mind is Lee McKinney. McKinney served as the athletic director and head men's basketball coach for the Griffins, finishing as the program's all-time wins leader. He was instrumental in not only helping grow Fontbonne University but also in the formation of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. His values on and off the court remain alive today in the form of the SLIAC Distinguished Service Award. SLIAC 30 for 30: Wylie Mangelsdorf; Smile While You Run |

In this week's SLIAC 30 for 30 we talk to former Principia College cross country and track and field competitor, Wylie Mangelsdorf. Wylie was one of the most decorated runners in SLIAC history and holds the highest individual finish (5th place) by a SLIAC competitor at the Cross Country NCAA Division III National Championship. He was inducted into the SLIAC Hall of Fame in 2019. |

SLIAC Volleyball Championship | |
Westminster College won its first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament for the first time since 1998, earning a bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. |

SLIAC Women's Soccer Championship | |
The Webster University women's soccer team notched their 10th St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship in program history, setting a new conference high for tournament titles; breaking a tie with Principia College who has nine. |

For the first time since 2007, Principia College claimed the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament title and earned a berth into the NCAA Division III Championship. |

Webster University won its 3rd straight St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship. |

Greenville University captured the 2019 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championship for a 4th straight season. |

SLIAC 30 for 30: Blackburn, A Work College | |
Blackburn College is one of just eight schools in the country to utilize a student work program and the only one that is run by their students. Located in Carlinville, Illinois, Blackburn College moved to this unique format in 1913 to help attract students from rural areas and allow them to receive a higher education, offsetting costs, while also gaining real-world work experiences to prepare them for their graduation. On Tuesday afternoon the Grinnell College Pioneers claimed the 2019 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship in their first season as members of the league.
