SLIAC Pushes Back Start of Winter Competition
The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Council of Presidents has announced the postponement of all SLIAC winter sports competitions until no sooner than January 1, 2021. The President's Council felt it was an appropriate decision as many SLIAC campuses continue to discuss and research their institutional ability to safely operate athletic competition within the NCAA Sports Science Institute return to competition testing mandates. The President's Council felt the additional time will provide the SLIAC conference members an opportunity to continue to develop plans on how to safely return to competition in January.
