Chris Parker

Chris Parker was a three-time All-SLIAC selection in men's basketball and helped lead Blackburn College to a SLIAC Regular Season Championship and Tournament Championship in 1991-92. As a sophomore he led the Beavers in scoring (15.0 ppg) and shot a team-best 57.5 percent from the floor. In his junior season, he averaged a team-high 15.9 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game, while also shooting 55.4 percent from the floor. Parker continued to improve and as a senior averaged 20.9 points per game, 9.1 rebounds per game, shot 57.8 percent from the floor and was named SLIAC Co-Player of the Year. In addition to his conference recognition, Parker was a Honorable Mention NCAA Division III All-American in 1994-95 and earned National Small College Athletic Association All-America honors in both 1993-94 and 1994-95. Parker finished his career with 1,829 points, which currently ranks third all-time at Blackburn.
