The Blackburn Women's Tennis Team defeated Fontbonne University for fifth place at the SLIAC Tournament by the score of 5-0 on Saturday April 20^th.

Ericka Bechtold was awarded the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship award.

This was the best finish in the tournament since 2015, when the Beavers beat the Griffins by the score 5-0. Blackburn finished the season with a 5-9 record, which is something the Beavers have not accomplished in over 10 years. This year record is much improved as the Beavers had had a combined six wins in the last five years.
