Blue Jays Suffer 9-0 Loss to Principia

The Westminster women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 conference loss at Principia College on Tuesday evening.

The Westminster Blue Jays ended doubles play down three. The final score was 8-1 for the number one and number three spot. In the number two spot, junior Laura Wiltshire and sophomore Laura Kelly fell 8-4.

Principia swept the Blue Jays in the number one through number five singles spots, but junior Jamie Striler put up a fight in the number six spot. She won the second set 6-4, but lost in the tiebreaker, 10-7. 

The Blue Jays are set to host Blackburn College on Saturday, April 11, at 3:00 p.m.
