ALBION, Mich. -- The men's tennis team opened their season with a perfect 9-0 sweep over Olivet.

Greenville won all six flights of singles in straight sets and all three doubles matches in a pro-set.

Singles winners included No. 1 Nate Wieland, No. 2 Blake Gocey, No. 3 Justin Tilford, No. 4 Austin Burkhart, No. 5 Dustin Vincent, and No. 6 Brock Renshaw.  Tilford won a perfect 6-0, 6-0 match, and Wieland only dropped one game as he won 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles winners were No. 1 Tilford/Wieland, No. 2 Burkhart/Gocey, and No. 3 Vincent/Jeremiah Brannon.

The Panther (1-0) face Albion on Saturday.
