ST. LOUIS - Westminster Men's Tennis won their second conference game of the season against Webster on Wednesday. The victory improved the Blue Jays record to 3-5 on the season (2-1 in SLIAC).
All three of the doubles matches on today were won by Blue Jays. The team of Brendan Boswell and Grant Peterson won in a landslide victory 8-0. Adam Fuchs/Scott Strough won their match 8-4, as did Pete Hassenmueller/Reese Hicks.
In singles, Westminster won four out of the six matches on the day. Adam Fuchs, Scott Strough, Pete Hassenmueller, and Grant Peterson were the winning Blue Jays.
Reese Hicks put up a good fight in his singles match, but he eventually fell on the wrong end of a three-set match that ended with a score of 7-5, 1-6, 6-7.
Westminster stays on the road on Tuesday, April 18th, for another conference opponent in Greenville at 4pm
