Women's volleyball sends off seniors with Homecoming win

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team rewarded a large Homecoming crowd and its six seniors - Becca Winemiller, Emily Thebeau, Janisha Pealer, Kirsten Laune, Sierah Ruffner, and Savannah Sells - with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-15 win over Eureka on Friday night.

Sells produced 11 kills and Allyson Mitchell gave Greenville 10 kills as Greenville had an easy time with Eureka.

Laune had a match-high 32 assists, and Mitchell added a match-high 12 digs in the win.

Greenville's Brittni Bell and Ruffner had a solo block and block assists.  Sells gave Greenville two block assists.

With the win, Greenville improved to 20-6 (13-2 SLIAC) and retained the first place position in the SLIAC standings.  This match might not be the final at home for the seniors as the regular season conference champion will host the conference tournament on November 5.
