The loss dropped the Blue Jays to 3-4 on the season (1-1 in conference) while improving the Panthers record to 3-10 (2-0 in conference).
Westminster got off to a rocky start when Principia claimed two out of the three doubles matches. Payton Beeler and Laura Kelly earned the sole victory for the Blue Jays by a score of 8-3.
In singles, Clara Baldwin and Payton Beeler each won their matches fairly decisively in straight sets. Baldwin won her match 6-1, 6-0 and Beeler won her match 6-3, 6-2.
Despite the loss, Westminster gets another chance at a conference opponent on the road Saturday, April 8th against Greenville at 1pm.
