Westminster Women's Soccer Shuts Out Eureka

FULTON, MO. – The Westminster women's soccer team defeated Eureka 10-0 on Saturday night to improve to 2-8-1 on the season and 2-1 in SLIAC play.

The Blue Jays got off to a quick start with three goals in the first 10 minutes of play. Alaina Allsbury opened the scoring with a goal just over five minutes into the game and Natalie Schulte added two quick goals.

Westminster added four more goal in the first half from Madison Ekern,  Emily Siegel and two from Kate Ponder

In the second half the Blue Jays scored three more goals from Maddy Lawton, Ekern and Siegel.

Ponder, Ekern, Siegel and Schulte all finished with two goals for Westminster.

Sarah Cradick played all 90 minutes in goal.

The Blue Jays will play again Wednesday night at Webster.
