Women's volleyball takes three-set win at MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team earned a three-set win over MacMurray on Tuesday night. The Panthers cruised to a 25-18, 25-17, 25-12 victory.

The junior pairing of Anna Finch and Abby Freeman provided over half of Greenville's offensive production as each tallied 12 kills in the match. Finch did not commit any errors in 20 attacks, ending with an attack percentage of .600. Freeman had three errors in 18 attempts, posting a hitting percentage of .500.

Jordan Lempa managed to lead Greenville in set assists, recording 22 of Greenville's 37 assists.

The Panthers tallied 11 service aces in the match, and Freeman led GU with four aces.

Facing MacMurray's attacks, Chasity Hill and Jasmin Smith each totaled 11 digs.

At the net, Finch provided four block assists.

The Panthers (14-7, 9-1 SLIAC) travel to Fontbonne for a match on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
