Winning Streak Continues for Westminster Volleyball

The winning streak continues for Westminster volleyball with Tuesday night's 3-1 win over Blackburn College. The Westminster Blue Jays are currently on a seven game winning streak, all coming from conference games. They currently sit at number two in the conference with a 9-2 record and are 13-5 on the season.

The Blue Jays won the match with scores of 25-17, 25-9, 22-25 and 25-22. They hit .258 on the night, including a powerful .414 set one. Sophomore Hannah Marshall had 14 kills. Junior Amanda Kiso and freshman Nikki Testerman each added 11, and Kiso put up three blocks. Junior setter Kayla Reeg recorded 50 assists, and senior Caroline Will led the match with 21 digs. 

The Blue Jays travel to Webster Groves, Mo. on Saturday, October 10, to face the number three and four teams in the conference, Webster and Fontbonne. They play Webster at 11:00 am and Fontbonne at 1:00 pm.
