Greenville Men's Track and Field Nationally Ranked

The Greenville College men's track and field team debuted at #12 in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national poll. The Panthers, coached by Brian Patton, finished the 2014 season ranked #8 in the NCAA Division III outdoor season.

Greenville opened the 2015 outdoor season with a third place team finish at the Washington University-St. Louis Mini Meet last weekend. The Panthers leaned heavily on their field participants as they currently have the conference's second and third longest distance in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. In addition Jaylen Shelton is currently second in the 800 meter and 1500 meter while Nathan Allyn currently has the conference's top 1500 meter time.

The Greenville Track and Field team is back in action again this weekend when they compete in the Washington University-St. Louis Invite. For a complete list of the USTFCCCA rankings click HERE
