Principia's Leavoy Helps Canadian Team to Pan Am Games Gold

Fontbonne University junior softball players Cassi Glixman and Danni Glixman (St. Louis, MO/Parkway North) have once again been named to the Jewish Sports Review All-America First-Team. The corner sisters have attained this achievement all four years as Griffins, representing NCAA Divisions II, III and the NAIA.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced their 2015 All-Americans with two Griffins selected to the third team as announced by the Association today. Fontbonne represents the lone SLIAC representation of the 29 institutions and 45 honorees this season.

After suffering a 1-0 loss to Aurora in extra innings on Friday, Fontbonne fell 4-3 to host school Central on Saturday; eliminating the Griffins from postseason competition.

Multiple Griffins Selected To Capital One Academic All-District Teams

The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District Baseball and Softball teams were announced today. Teams were selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), recognizing student-athletes for both their academic and athletic performances. The Academic All-District teams are divided into eight districts that recognize the NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III.
