Panthers Assigned To Trine Regional
The Greenville softball team has been placed in the NCAA regional hosted by Trine. The Lady Panthers qualified for their first NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament.
Greenville (23-20-1) will play the host on Thursday. It is a double-elimination regional.
The winner of the Trine Regional will face the winner of the Lake Forest Regional.
The Lady Panthers have faced a number of opponents in the NCAA field, including St. Thomas, Luther, St. Catherine, and Washington-St. Louis.
