Tigers Make Third Straight Trip To USCAA Nationals
The USCAA announced the lineup for the 2015-16 Basketball National Championships. In the women's basketball Division I pairings, Iowa Wesleyan earned the #2 seed after going 18-7 on the season. The number one seed went to Concordia Alabama.
Head Coach Steve Williamson, and the Tigers will make their third trip in a row to the USCAA National Tournament. Last season, the Tigers lost a heart breaker in the first round, falling in two overtime periods to Alfred State. They bounced back and defeated the Apprentice School in their second game of action. Iowa Wesleyan will play on March 2, 2016 at 1 pm for their first round contest.
They take on the #7 seed, Carlow University, who currently holds a record of 13-12 overall and 6-9 in conference. To read the USCAA release click this link and to see the full tournament bracket, click here.
