Halfpop completed his master's degree in Sport Management from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014.  Currently, he is working towards his Ph. D. in Performance Psychology at Grand Canyon University.

"I am excited and honored to begin my head coaching career at Iowa Wesleyan College. I want to thank President Steven Titus and Athletic Director Steve Williamson for having the confidence in me to lead this program going forward.  They both have new and fresh ideas for Iowa Wesleyan, and that falls in line with what I have in mind for the Women's Soccer Program.  I am looking to build a program and the culture of soccer here that everyone at Iowa Wesleyan can be proud to be a part of."

Halfpop is a native of Urbandale, IA and currently resides in Mt. Pleasant.
