Rountree Named AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention
Principia College's Tess Rountree has been named 2014 All-Region Honorable Mention by the AVCA.
This year Rountree, a senior from Paso Robles, Calif., became the ninth player in SLIAC history to repeat as Player of the Year and garnered First Team All-Conference honors for the fourth time in her career. Rountree led the conference in kills (328), kills per set (4.97), and solo blocks (41) and was second in digs (281) and third in service aces (28). Rountree recorded double digit kills in all but three matches this season and finished with more than 30 kills in a match seven times.
