Panthers Headed To Atlanta To Face Emory

The Greenville women's volleyball team has been placed in the Berry regional, hosted by Berry College.  The Panthers qualified for their second NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament.

Greenville (24-7) will play Emory on Thursday.

Other teams in the eight team regional include Birmingham Southern, Chicago, the host Berry, Thomas More, Hendrix, and Covenant.

If the Panthers win their first round game, they would play on Friday against the winner of Birmingham Southern and Chicago.

The regional championship is scheduled for Saturday.

The Lady Panthers have not played any opponents in their regional this season and went 1-2 against the NCAA tournament field.  Greenville defeated Dominican and lost twice to Washington-St. Louis.
