Keith Quigley was also a member of the Fontbonne coaching staff, coaching the Griffins women's basketball program from 1996-2011. He is Fontbonne's all-time leader in wins in women's basketball with 254 and finished with a 180-42 record in SLIAC play. Quigley was a six-time SLIAC Coach of the Year, winning four straight awards from 1997-2001. The Griffins won six SLIAC championships during his tenure including three tournament titles.  Quigley and the Griffins made four trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament and became the first SLIAC program to win a game in the tournament, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen round in 2001. In his 15 years as head coach, he recorded five 20-win seasons and never had a losing record in conference play. He also coached 23 All-Conference players, four SLIAC Players of the Year, and three All-Americans.
