SLIAC Record: 2-0-0

Testing themselves against tough competition to open the season the Griffins went 0-1-2 but that test has paid off as they have opened conference play with back-to-back wins with victories over Spalding and Webster; outscoring the two conference foes 7-0. Fontbonne is averaging 13.2 shots per game this season and rank 5th in the SLIAC with 10 goals scored.

After the departure of SLIAC Offensive Player of the Year Molly Kovarik, Krystal Kohenskey has stepped into the team's lead role. Kohenskey leads the team with 4 goals and 3 assists this season and recently recorded her 30th career assist for the Griffins, moving her into 2nd in program history. Caroline Neal has already tabbed 2 goals from her defensive position while Alyson Carroll and Bianca Cortez-Perez have each recorded 1 goal and 1 assist. Mary Beers holds down the net, recording a 1.20 goals-against average this season with 17 saves in five games.

Overall Record: 3-2-0

SLIAC Record: 2-0-0

The Blue Jays bring in the league's longest winning streak at three games including a pair of conference wins. They have 11 goals this season and lead the conference at 19.0 shots per game. They have peppered opponent keepers, putting 47 of 95 shots on goal this season.

The Blue Jays' attack has been balanced this season with six different players tallying a goal and nine players recording a point. The duo of Payton Montana and Hannah Shylanski have paced the team with 7 total points on 3 goals and 1 assist. Their top five scorers are underclassmen but the youth hasn't mattered so far as they have outscored conference opponents 7-0 in their first two SLIAC games. In net Megan Davdison is the incumbent. She has a 0.77 goals-against average with 13 saves in four starts

The Series: Fontbonne holds a 26-8-6 lead over Westminster in the all-time series which dates back to 1994. The Griffins have taken the last two games with Westminster's last win coming in the 2020-21 SLIAC Championship game, a 2-1 victory.
