Men's tennis collects two wins on Saturday

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's tennis team topped Loras and Webster by identical 6-3 scores on Saturday as they finished their slate of dual matches this fall.

In the first match against Loras, Greenville picked up wins from Clark Kent and Luke Motsinger in No. 2 doubles and a win from Thibaut Tignee and Dylan Collins in No. 3 doubles to give GU a 2-1 lead going into the singles competitions.

In singles, No. 1 Andres Sanchez, No. 2 Rafael Rodriguez, No. 3 Kent, and No. 4 Motsinger were winners.

The match against Webster saw Kent and Motsinger pick up a win in No. 2 doubles before the Panthers went 5-1 in singles to earn the win.

No. 1 Sanchez, No. 2 Rodriguez, No. 3 Kent, No. 4 Motsinger, and No. 6 Santiago Jaimes took singles wins.

The Panthers (3-0) will next compete in the ITA regional.
