Lee Hits Two Homers in Griffins' Dominating Win
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Fontbonne University baseball team dominated SLIAC opponent Blackburn College, 11-1, in the first game of the three-game series at Shaw Park this evening. The team improves to 20-9 on the season and 8-2 in SLIAC play.

On the bottom of the second inning, Bryce McKinnon hit a double to left field bringing home K Brooks. Carter Lee hit a homer bringing him home, Bryce McKinnon and Trey Kueper.
On the fourth, Blackburn scored their only run of the game. Carter Lee hit another home run to bring home Bryce McKinnon.
Carter Lee scored after Matt Helm hit an RBI single to left field. Colby Shivers hit a double to left field bringing home Matt Helm, on the bottom of the sixth.
On the bottom of the seventh, Ty Kueper hit a two RBI double to center field bringing home Carter Lee and Bryce McKinnon. Matt Helm hit a single to left field scoring Eric Creech and ending the game early, 11-1.
Gavin Kinworthy (7-2) took the win on the mound. He pitched 7.0 innings and struck out 13 while allowing two hits and one run.
