12 players from SLIAC baseball picked up Academic All-District honors as chosen by the College Sports Communicators for the 2022-23 season.

The 2023 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball and softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

In order to be nominated for the award, student-athletes must have completed at least one full year at the university, they must have above a 3.5 GPA, they must be a starter or key reserve, and they must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games. To qualify as a pitcher, they must pitch in at least 10.0 innings.
