Blueboys Take 1st in Fall Preview

The Illinois College Blueboys golf team hosted the IC Fall Preview on Monday. The team was able to come away with a first-place finish in the tournament with a team score of 291. 

The team was led by Jarrett James placing first in the tournament overall with a score of 70 through one round. He was followed by Tre Wahlig and Tobin Nell each placing tied for second in the tournament with scores of 72. Andrew McKillip tied for 14th (77) and Peter Hauser tied for 25th (80) to round out the first-place team. 

The Blueboys were also able to claim second place as a team with a score of 298. The second team featured Tanner Romine and Ashton Sutton both placing tied for sixth with scores of 74. Dane Huber and Cole Bartels tied for 10th (75) and Samuel Frericks tied for 36th (82). 

The Blueboys will compete next on the road at the Blackburn College Invite on Thursday, 9/22 at 11:00 AM.
