McCoy Edges Out Win
Webster University's Justin McCoy edged out a field that included golfers from Spalding University to win the Spalding Spring Invitational. McCoy finished with a two-round score of 143, finishing one under par for the event. He matched a season-low with his opening round of 69 and closed out with a 74 in round two; totaling six birdies and an eagle for the tournament. He won the event by just one stroke as Webster finished second in the team score.
Spalding University won the event with a team score of 595 including a low round of 294 in the first round. The Eagles were led by Kendall Hale with a 144, finishing in 2nd individually.
