Three Gorloks Named Academic All-District

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced this morning. Cody Surma, Justin McCoy, and Josh Hayes were recognized for their efforts on the course and in the classroom this past season.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

In order to be nominated for the award, student-athletes must have completed at least one full year at the university, have above a 3.5 GPA, be a starter or key reserve, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's tournaments.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 21.
