19 from SLIAC Earn Academic All-District
This year 19 players from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have earned Academic All-District Team honors as selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Two SLIAC members accounted for the 19 players selected, Spalding University and Webster University with 12 women earning the honor and seven men.
From the Spalding women's team honorees were Olivia Bosch, Shelby Deering, Kara Krueger, Tayler Mahoney, Jordan Schneider, and Baeli Young. Caleb Jackson and Adrian Oyler were the two men's program representatives.
The Webster University women's team had six players receive honors: Taryn Banfield, Jordan Bilyeu, Jordan Lande, Mackenzie O'Neal, Abbey Poe, and Grace Rodgers. The men's team placed five players on the team in Noah Abraham, Tavis Cameron, Colby Kapp, Jonny McCarthy, and Mark Moore.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
