Webster Hosts Invitational
Webster University played host to a fall invitational with three programs from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competing as well as the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. The invitational featured a total of 18 individual matches and 12 doubles matches.
Greenville led all teams with a total of 16 wins on the day, eight in both individual and doubles matches. Clark Kent picked up a pair of wins during the singles portion; winning 6-3, 6-2 and 8-6. All four doubles teams for the Panthers won two matches during the invitational.
Webster had 7 singles wins with Matt Birchmeier winning both his matches; 6-2, 6-2 and 8-3. Andrew McDonald also picked up a pair of wins in singles play; 6-2, 6-1 and 8-2. The doubles teams of Riley Muren and Carson Fisher and Courtland Butler and Andrew McDonald each picked up one win.
Westminster's John Moore won his singles match 6-4, 6-3 to give the Blue Jays their lone win on the day.
