Spalding Clinches SLIAC Title
For the first time in program history, the Spalding University softball team is the SLIAC regular season champion. The Golden Eagles locked up the regular season title by winning the final game of a doubleheader against Fontbonne University 5-3.
Spalding finishes the regular season with a 15-3 conference record, their most conference wins since joining the SLIAC. The Golden Eagles are 26-10 overall this season and will be the top overall seed in the upcoming SLIAC Softball Tournament, earning a first-round bye.
