Five from Greenville Named All-Region

Five student-athletes from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have been named All-Region by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2023 indoor track and field season. All five are from Greenville University and are the only athletes from the SLIAC to earn the honor this year.

The lone women's athlete honored is Cayden Sharp, who was named All-Region in the pentathlon. Joining her from the Panthers men's team are CJ Anderson and Carson Rantanen in the 60 meters, Wesley Kile in the pole vault, and Dylan Webster in the high jump. 

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross-country season.
