Sharp Finishes Career as All-American
Greenville University's Cayden Sharp finished her career as an All-American after her performance in the heptathlon at this weekend's 2023 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships. Sharp finished 7th with 4923 points to earn All-American honors. She is just the second athlete in SLIAC history to receive All-American honors, joining Chelsea Giles of Greenville University in 2017 in the 400-meter run.
Sharp's best finish in the heptathlon events came in the 100-meter hurdles, where she finished 2nd with a time of 14.28 seconds. She also finished 5th in the 200-meter dash.
