Women's Cross Country Teams Prepare for Championship

Just two weeks away from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, several women's cross-country teams competed in the Greenville Classic this past weekend. Greenville topped the SLIAC teams with a 2nd place team finish; Eureka finished 4th and Blackburn placed 7th.

Gretchen Carie was the top finisher among SLIAC runners, placing 3rd overall with a time of 19:53 in the 5k race. Olivia Mansfield was 5th and Brook Schutt finished 7th for the Panthers.

Eureka's Karissa Heffernan completed the course in 20:18, good for a 4th-place showing. 

Olivia Leemon led Blackburn with a time of 24:19, finishing 41st overall.
