Rich Meckfessel, former Commissioner of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference passed away on Wednesday due to complications from a recent surgery.

Familiar Field in 2019 SLIAC Baseball Tournament

The 2019 SLIAC Baseball Tournament has a familiar look as all four teams from the previous two tournaments return to chase the title this spring. For the first time in conference history, there are Co-Champions in baseball as Spalding will be the #1 seed from the East Division and Webster the #1 seed from the West Division. Greenville University, the host school, earned the #2 seed from the East while Westminster College will be the #2 seed from the West.

Men's Tennis Takes Center Stage This Weekend

For the second straight weekend the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will invade Dwight Davis Tennis Center for a tennis tournament. This weekend it is time for men's tennis to take center court. The tournament will be held Friday and Saturday with matches beginning at 11 a.m. on both days. There will be four matches played on Friday with the Championship match and 3rd place match held on Saturday.
Greenville and Webster Look To Defend Titles

The 3rd St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Track and Field Championship is set for this weekend in Greenville, Illinois. The meet will consist of seven conference members competing over two days for the 2019 SLIAC Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships. Friday's events include multiple throwing events and long distance running events. Saturday is set for a 10 a.m. start and will be the majority of the competition, concluding with the relay events around 5 p.m.

SLIAC Men's Golf Tournament Tees off Monday

Webster University will look to defend their St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title early next week when the 2019 SLIAC Men's Golf Tournament tees off. Webster has won two straight titles and will be in a field with fellow conference members Blackburn College, Eureka College, Fontbonne University, Iowa Wesleyan University, MacMurray College, Spalding University, and Westminster College as the eight teams will play three rounds over two days at Weaver Ridge Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.
