PEORIA, Ill. -- Eureka College senior guard Emily Camden (Green Valley, Ill./Midwest Central) led the Red Devils with 14 points Saturday night at Bradley, but the NCAA Division I Braves downed the Red Devils at Renaissance Coliseum, 87-47. The Red Devils kept the contest close through the first half, heading into the locker down 38-34.
Eureka junior guard Luci Weis (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) also scored in double-figures with 12 points on 5-for-13 shooting from the field. Freshman Kelsey Forsythe (Pleasant Plains, Ill./Pleasant Plains [Lincoln Land]) paced the Red Devils with seven rebounds. Camden had two of the Red Devils' eight assists.
BU's Leti Lerma poured in a game-high 19 points on 9-for-14 shooting off the bench and added 13 rebounds for a double-double. The Braves outrebounded the visitors, 55-29.
Eureka will tip-off conference play at home Tuesday with a 6 p.m. contest against Principia.
