Randy Henkels Named Eureka Golf Coach
Randy Henkels has been named golf head coach at Eureka College for the 2014 season. Additionally, Henkels is currently in his 14th season as an athletic trainer at Eureka College.
He previously served as an athletic trainer at Parkland
College in Champaign, Ill., Healthsouth Clinic in Austin, Texas and
LBJ High School in Austin, Texas.
Henkels graduated from the University of Illinois in 1980 with
a B.S. in physical education and later earned a master’s
degree from Southwest Texas State University.
Henkels is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Eureka
College and is responsible for athletic training majors. He is also
set to enter his ninth year as an assistant athletic director at
Eureka in 2013-14.
Henkels and his wife Sue have two children, Alexandra (24) and
Kevin (20).
