Madison Leonard joins her former teammate Glixman in the Hall of Fame. Leonard was a pitcher for the Griffins from 2013-16; going 72-24 with a 2.21 earned-run average. She finished her career with a conference record 749 strikeouts, nearly doubling the next closest total. She is also the conference all-time leader in wins and ranks tied for 2nd in shutouts with 13. Leonard had one no-hitter in her career and holds the SLIAC record for consecutive scoreless innings with 58 during the 2015 season. Her 24 wins in 2016 are tied for the 4th most in a single season and she holds the top two single-season strikeout marks and three in the top six. Leonard was an All-America and All-Region performer in 2015 and a four-time First Team All-Conference selection. She was the first player in conference history to win back-to-back Pitcher of the Year awards and remains only one of two players in conference history to accomplish that feat.
