Webster Women's Basketball "Going Pink"

ST. LOUIS - The Webster University women's basketball team will once again turn Grant Gymnasium into 'The Pink Zone,' on Friday, February 11, when its faces Spalding University (KY). 'The Pink Zone' is an opportunity to use women's basketball as a vehicle to raise breast cancer awareness. The event is co-sponsored in part by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Fans attending the game are encouraged to show their support of the fight against breast cancer by wearing something pink. Players will be wearing pink accessories in support of the cause. Various activities, including a 50/50 raffle will be held to raise funds. Admission to the game is free, but donations will be accepted and all proceeds from the game will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The women's game will start at 6 p.m., with the men's game scheduled to follow at 8 p.m.
