Webster Adds Five To Hall of Fame

Five student-athletes from the sports of men's basketball, men's soccer and volleyball were inducted into the Webster University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2018 in a ceremony Saturday night in the Sunnen Lounge in the University Center on the Webster University campus.

Webster University and Director of Athletics, Scott Kilgallon, are pleased to announce five Gorlok greats as the newest members of its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2018 inductees include; two of the top sharp-shooters and scorers in Webster men's basketball history, a midfielder for men's soccer who solidified the young program plus a defender who helped make it a perennial conference contender, and a volleyball player who led the Gorloks to the school's first SLIAC Championship, while making that program a perennial conference power as well.

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference had five representatives named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Central Region team.
Over 200 Student-Athletes On SLIAC All-Academic Team

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference would like to congratulate the over 200 student-athletes from across the conference that earned All-Academic Team honors this fall. This marks the third consecutive fall that the SLIAC has had a record number of student-athletes earn academic honors.

Keller Leads 2017 SLIAC Men's Soccer Honors

Kaleb Keller heads up the list of honorees for the 2017 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer All-Conference team and awards. Keller takes home both the SLIAC Offensive Player and the Newcomer of the Year honors, becoming just the third player in conference history to win both awards in the same season. Also earning top honors this season are Greg Ferry and Justin Schmidt, who were named Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and Donnie Alberty, who was named Coach of the Year. MacMurray College received the Team Sportsmanship.
