Starting today and running through Sunday, April 11, the Webster Athletics Department in conjunction with the Webster Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be honor its student-athletes in several different ways in celebration of NCAA Division III Week.

NCAA Division III Week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community. During the week, every Division III school and conference office is encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: academic accomplishment; athletic experience; or leadership/community service/campus involvement.

Throughout the week, Webster's student-athletes will share the reasons they chose Division III on the social media accounts of the Gorloks athletic teams and in fact, every aspect of this year's Division III Week at Webster will be a department-wide social media campaign. Please remember to include on these hashtags when tweeting about D-III Week - #D3Week, #NCAAD3 or #whyD3.

Webster's Division III Week activities for its student-athletes kick off on Monday as the SAAC is hosting a Virtual Trivia Night for all student-athletes that sign up for the event. The winner of the trivia night contest, which will be held via Zoom, will get to choose from a $50 gift card from Amazon, Target or Wal-Mart.
