Spalding Women's Soccer Collects for Wayside Christian Mission

The Spalding University women's soccer team ran a collection for the Wayside Christian Mission in order to gather various types of items. The Golden Eagles donated shirts, pants, and jackets, as well as other important items as the weather becomes more and more hazardous for those in need.

Westminster To Host Second Annual Winter ID Camp

The Westminster women's soccer team is set to host the second annual Winter ID Camp on February 7, 2016, at 1:30-3:30 pm. The 2016 Winter ID Camp is a collegiate run camp for U15-U18s, including goalkeepers, at the Moohlah Shriner Facility in St. Louis, Missouri.

Webster Women's Soccer Earns 4th Straight NSCAA Ethics Award

The Webster University women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 2015 Bronze Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award. The Gorloks were the only team in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to qualify for the award in 2015.
Webster's Mess Named NSCAA Scholar All-American

Webster's Ashley Mess was named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America 2015 Scholar All-American, becoming the first women's soccer player in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference history to earn the distinction. Mess, previously named to the NSCAA All-Central Region First Team, was a Third Team Scholar All-American.

Webster Announces Five in Hall of Fame Class

Webster University and Director of Athletics, Scott Kilgallon, are pleased to announce five Gorlok greats as the newest members of its Athletics Hall of Fame. Brady Barke (basketball, golf), John Cooksey (basketball), Kjersti Ehrie (cross country), Andrew Fuiten (baseball), and Jessica (Kozeny) Gorsuch (soccer) were voted to the class of 2016. They will be inducted on February 20, 2016, in a ceremony on campus.

The Westminster women's soccer team became the 2015 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament Champions after defeating Webster in penalty kicks 5-4, earning the program's first bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Five teams were represented on the First Team with no team having more than three players. Taking home top conference awards this year are Dee Dee Sliter, Ashley Mess, Abby Rockers, and Dani Pearce.

Webster's Jessica Mess was voted the HeroSports.com NCAA III Women's Soccer HERO of the Week for her performance last week. Mess (SR, St. Louis, MO/Northwest HS) beat out eight other national nominees.
