Golden Eagles Open 2022 With Win
Senior Kendall Hale took home an individual title and led Spalding University to a win at the Battle at Chariot Run over the weekend.
Hale carded a team-low 70-71—141 to earn the individual win and finish three-under-par. Nolan Keeler was next at 69-75—144 in second place and also made the All-Tournament team. Three more Golden Eagles finished in the top ten as Jack Tieman (71-78—149) came in sixth, Coby Johnson (77-73—150) finished seventh, and Andrew Bennett (76-75—151) tied for eighth.
Spalding earned the team win with a total of 586. The University of Pikeville placed second with a final tally of 597. Asbury University rounded out the top three with a total of 606.
