McCoy Caps Golf Season at Nationals

Justin McCoyof the Webster University men's golf team wrapped up play this afternoon in the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf National Championships at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. McCoy finished in a tie for 56th after shooting a four-round score of 300 (78-67-74-81, +12).

In his final round of the tournament, McCoy shot an 81 (+9) on the Champion Trace course. He finished with one birdie and seven pars for the round.

McCoy made the cut after shooting a 78 (+6) in the first round and a 67 (-5) in the second round. His 67 in round two was tied for the best round in the tournament. After making the cut, McCoy shot a 74 (+2) in the third round.

He finished the tournament with nine birdies, 39 pars, and an eagle. 

Carnegie Mellon (N.Y.) University won the event after shooting a four-round team score of 1,151 (-1). Josh Hebrink from Piedmont (Ga.) University was the individual champion after shooting a four-round score of 281 (-7).
