Blue Jays Duo Takes First Place at Baker Relays

Westminster College track duo Shannon McCaul and Jessie Kuykendall each earned first-place finishes at the Baker University Relays last Saturday.

McCaul won two events, including the 5000 meter run and the 3000 meter Steeplechase. She finished the five kilometers with a time of 19 minutes, 15 seconds to earn the win, and a time of 11.55:98 in the steeplechase. 

Kuykendall earned a win in the 10,000 meter race, finishing in 39:05.87. 

Westminster track travels to Central Methodist April 7 for their next competition.
