Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
   

Andrew Sprengel, Westminster College

Sprengel, a senior forward, helped the Blue Jays secure a postseason berth by tallying his first collegiate hat-trick in his team's final regular-season game, a win over Eureka. He netted his three goals, including the game-winner, in consecutive scores for Westminster, doing so over just an 11-minute span. Sprengel now has goals in four of his last five games. 

     
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
   

Dawson Klunk, Blackburn College

Klunk finished his week with 19 saves in two conference wins, compiling a 1.00 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage. The junior keeper started the week with 9 stops in a win over Westminster. He closed it out with 10 saves against Spalding, including a stop on a penalty kick. 

     
Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
   

Molly Kovarik, Fontbonne University

The senior picks up her 3rd straight weekly award after notching 3 goals in a pair of conference wins last week. Kovarik tallied the game-winner in a 2-0 win over Eureka and followed with 2 goals in a 3-0 win over Greenville. The forward now has 19 goals on the season, leading the conference.

     
Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
   

Isabella Dickneite, Webster University

A freshman defender, Dickneite, helped the Gorloks notch two shutout wins last week; extending the team shutout streak to six games. Dickneite was part of a defense that allowed Greenville just 5 shots in an overtime contest and limited Principia to just two shots. 

     

Other Notables:

  • Mary Beers, Fontbonne University (Soccer) Became the program's career leader in shutouts with her 22nd in a 3-0 win over Greenville.
  • Matt Coffey, Webster University (Soccer) Picked up his 16th win of the season, tying the program record for wins in a season.
  • Ahmadou Gueye, Spalding University (Soccer) Scored a goal in both of his games last week including the game-winner against Principia.
  • Dominic Haggard, Fontbonne University (Soccer) Recorded 11 saves in a losing effort against Greenville.
  • Lauren Halamicek, Westminster College (Soccer) Scored 3 goals in two wins last week.
  • Zibo Siamsipa, Blackburn College (Soccer) Had goals in a pair of wins last week, totaling 2 goals and 1 assist for the week.
  • Baeli Young, Spalding University (Soccer) Recorded a hat-trick in a win over Principia and added 2 assists in a win over Blackburn.
