A Undefeated Fall Trio

A Undefeated Fall Trio

Three teams completed a memorable fall season this year, going undefeated in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. It marks the first time since 2009, and just the 6th time in conference history, that a team from men's soccer, women's soccer, and volleyball all went undefeated in conference play during the same fall period.

The Fontbonne University women's soccer team recorded a second straight undefeated season, going 12-0-2 this fall. It marks the first time the Griffin program has back-to-back undefeated seasons and the 24th time a team has gone undefeated in SLIAC play.

The Webster University men's soccer team rolled to a 13-0-1 SLIAC record this season, becoming the first men's soccer team to go undefeated during conference play since the 2016 season. It is the 5th time in program history the Gorloks have accomplished the feat and the 18th time in conference history. The 13 conference wins this fall are the second-most in a single season in SLIAC history.

The Greenville University volleyball team was the final team to complete an undefeated conference season, going a perfect 12-0. It is the first undefeated conference season by a volleyball team since 2009 and the 12th time in conference history. This is the first time the Panthers have completed an undefeated season in SLIAC play.

The five previous instances of three undefeated SLIAC fall teams occurred in:

1998 - (Greenville men's soccer, Maryville women's soccer, Westminster volleyball)
1999 - (Webster men's soccer, Maryville women's soccer, Westminster volleyball)
2006 - (Webster men's soccer, Webster women's soccer, Principia volleyball)
