Mokris Picks Up National Award

Greenville University slugger Landon Mokris had a week that many players would consider a season. The senior first baseman hit .667 over four games, hitting five home runs while driving in 16 runs. He recorded three multi-hit games on the week, helping the Panthers to four wins. For his effort he was named Player of the Week by the National College Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) for the week of April 26, 2023.

Mokris finished the week 8-for-12 at the plate with a 2.775 OPS. He currently ranks 3rd in NCAA Division III with 57 RBI and 5th at 1.78 RBI per game. Mokris was also selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week and earned SLIAC Diamond Sports Baseball Hitter of the Week honors.
